FWIW, I don't like the "new" flexible ones with the elastic closure.MIQUELRIUS Notebook Grid A5 Black Office Products MIQUELRIUS Notebook Grid A5 Black Try the 100 or 200 pages first some report problems with the binding on the 300 pg (though I have not had problem with my 300 pg). If you use EF nib and like grid paper, I'd recommend trying Miquelrius (I'm not a spiral notebook fan so have not tried any of the other Miquelrius though). I finally got Renaissance-Art customized cover for the 4圆 notebook and the 6x8 notebook - heavenly Maybe it's the covers but I've had no problem with the binding falling apart. It does not lie flat but does lie opened on its own and writing on the left (back) side is not bad after the first 5 pages or so. I've used Moleskines, Exacompta, Rhodia, Clairefontaine, Levenger paper, and BnR among others but kept coming back to Miquelrius for its paper but also the light grid color. I use the notebook for my daily journal and planner I tend to write with EF nib though so that may account for the lack of bleed through. I use the leather-look 70g weight ones and only have bleed through if I use a medium or broad nib. I have to say they've become my favorite. Too bad you've no luck with Miquelrius notebooks. I'm betting that people that said that theirs didn't bleed, were using ones with heavier paper. like for yesterday!Īnyone ever tried Rhodia? Its cheaper, has 80gramme High Grade Vellum paper. On the other hand, and really liking other papers, the only Apica I've used -sent for a traveling journal-, bled through badly. This is a high quality paper and the range of products is very good. It does not interfere with what you write on the other side of the page at all in most cases. Noodler's seems to show more and have a hint of bleed through, specially the brown. Waterman's blue and the usual house mix of burple are the other two. All my inks are European brands but for the black and brown shown here, Noodler's black and Standart Brown respectively. Is true that shows some hints of the other side of the paper and that with some inks a hint of bleed through occurs. And stays on it -200 year warranty at least for any European made ink. The paper, not being as luscious as Clairefontaine/Rhodia ones, is simply the best ink taking paper around and is recommended go get some now if your haven't tried them yet. We use a wide range of Miquel Ríus Notebooks at home. * The only paper that isn’t white is the ECO notebooks due to the fact that it’s recycled paper.
